The Sapo Pepe song remains a titan of Argentine childhood with hundreds of millions of views. The coin's slogan compresses all of this into "The First Pepe, Since 1988," a lore based priority claim over Pepe itself.

KuCoin's news desk recorded the launch on the evening of August 9, 2026 and a near vertical opening: the coin briefly touched a 20 million dollar market capitalization with trading volume exceeding 52 million dollars before retreating to around 12 million.
