N3on is a controversial livestreamer who became co owner of Iggy Azalea's MOTHER token casino Motherland in 2025 and fronted the launch of her celebrity coin launchpad Thrust.

N3on, real name Rangesh Mutama, is a livestreamer known for confrontational IRL and reaction content who became one of the most visible streamer entrants into crypto in 2025 through his partnership with the rapper Iggy Azalea. His deals tied a mainstream streaming audience directly to MOTHER, Azalea's Solana token, making him a recurring figure in coverage of the celebrity coin wave and the streamer meta. His own token, $N3ON, launched in November 2025 and became crypto twitter shorthand for the failed creator coin.

Background

A Business Insider profile published in April 2026 reported that Mutama, then 21, was born in Houston to strict Indian and Pakistani parents, spent much of his childhood hospitalized with a stomach disease doing school online, and began making YouTube gaming tutorials at 11. He became active as a streamer in 2019, spending over three years streaming mostly NBA 2K before moving to Fortnite content, and was banned from Twitch twice before moving to Kick. The same profile described self reported earnings of several hundred thousand dollars a month from Kick, and a distribution machine in which he paid about 1.4 million dollars to 303 clippers over five weeks to flood short form feeds. It also recorded that he once faked his own death, was arrested in Dubai for filming in restricted areas, and has carried the label The Most Hated Kid On The Internet.

His platform history whipsawed. On July 18, 2025 he confirmed with a trailer that he was leaving Kick for Twitch, after a Breakfast Club clip leaked the plan; his friend Adin Ross publicly questioned the move. The Twitch era did not stick: by the April 2026 Business Insider profile he was again streaming four plus hours daily on Kick with roughly 500,000 followers and a top 10 ranking on the platform.

Fake death pattern

The "once faked his own death" line compresses a repeated pattern rather than a single incident. In December 2019 he staged a terminal illness and death announcement, followed by a December 31, 2019 "return." On December 22, 2023 he posted a stomach disease health update. In September 2024 a viral livestream clip claiming he had six days to live circulated widely; he addressed it on TikTok, saying "I am perfectly fine. I am not dying. I did not start this rumor." This sits in tension with Business Insider's framing of a genuine childhood stomach illness recounted above; both versions exist in the sourced record without reconciliation.

Motherland co ownership

On September 11, 2025, during a livestream from the Bahamas, N3on was announced as co owner of Motherland, the crypto casino Azalea launched in late 2024. The platform's games, including blackjack, poker and sports betting, use the MOTHER token as their currency. Revolt reported that Azalea said she gave N3on a deal worth a lot of money, in the millions, and that Motherland had taken more than 25 million dollars in investment, though his exact terms were not disclosed. N3on framed the deal as more than a business move, calling it about shaping the future of gaming culture. ReadWrite covered the partnership under the headline of a controversial streamer joining a crypto casino. Complex reported that the platform was associated with the crypto firm Karatage and featured live dealer shows with Playboy bunnies, and in its press push N3on described himself as "a cultural entrepreneur who streams".

The arc reached its endgame in 2026. On March 2, 2026 the crypto casino Gamdom announced it had acquired Motherland, with both Azalea and N3on signing long term ambassador agreements. N3on had already been a paid Gamdom promoter before Motherland, so his trajectory ran from sponsored streamer to co owner to acquired ambassador of the platform that bought his casino.

Thrust launchpad

In November 2025 The Block reported that Azalea had joined Thrust, a new Solana based celebrity coin launchpad, as creative director, with plans to migrate MOTHER there. Thrust replaced the bonding curve model with liquidity pools plus legally enforceable creator contracts, and The Block recorded N3on as its first featured creator on launch day, extending his role from casino partner to one of the first creators monetized through the launchpad. Decrypt and Forbes covered the launchpad as an attempt to make celebrity tokens credible after the wave of failed 2024 and 2025 celebrity launches.

The $N3ON token

N3on's token launched through Thrust in November 2025 as his official coin tied to his streams; a designer who worked on the Thrust app later confirmed that N3on had launched his first token on it. What followed became one of the most documented creator coin declines of the cycle, chronicled in a months long series by the tracker account imperooterxbt: in December 2025 the account posted that "N3on has 1m+ on his wrist while his token holders have negative money in their portfolio, 30+ days of down only and radio silence from N3on", then that he had "launched a crypto token, promised it would go up abandoned it and now is giving money away like he's some good person", and by late December that the token was down 90 percent; in January 2026 it reported the token did not average a buyer a day and framed the story as "N3on abandoned his token just like the Thrust Launchpad abandoned its community". All of these are that account's allegations, with no adjudicated findings.

Other accounts extended the charge sheet. A March 2026 recap thread by StarPlatinum_ alleged that the top three holders controlled over 90 percent of $N3ON supply, that the token's website had disappeared, and that it had been abandoned while N3on earned tens of millions a year streaming. In June 2026 the account Shilllin alleged the token "flopped horribly" with a down only chart "after extracting 1 mil in a presale", adding that N3on afterwards said he was not involved in crypto. No outlet coverage of the token's performance was located; the record is community allegation throughout. Even the promotional side produced losses: Thrust ran a Xeet financed $N3ON rewards tournament from November 7 to December 8, 2025, tied to Thrust's launch sponsorship at the Blockchain Futurist Conference, and winners posted that the token was down 98 percent from its all time high with rewards distributed late, one cashing a reward for 162 dollars while noting the token had been dumping before the tournament ended.

Critics set the decline against clips of N3on flexing a claimed 1 million dollar watch collection and hosting a 100,000 dollar giveaway event with Adin Ross, Ryan Garcia, and FaZe Rug in December 2025; imperooterxbt explicitly framed the giveaways as reputation laundering after the token abandonment. By the end of 2025, "N3on coin" had become crypto twitter shorthand for the failed creator coin category, grouped with the Mr Beast coin in cults versus creator coins discourse.

Controversies

N3on's mainstream reputation preceded his crypto ventures. Revolt noted that he has received criticism for racist statements in the past and in his streams' comments, which he deflected in a July interview on The Breakfast Club by arguing that his chat was not a representation of him. His platform ban record is extensive: in March 2024 he threatened on call to dox and sexually assault a young viewer and received only a temporary Kick ban, per Distractify; in October 2024 Dexerto reported he was banned after his guest Prime threatened streamers and brawled on stream; and in December 2024 he was banned after allegedly encouraging friends to kill a chicken off camera, per the Express Tribune. Consumer advocates have criticized streamer fronted crypto casinos generally for marketing gambling to young audiences; those criticisms attach to the category rather than to specific adjudicated conduct by N3on. No regulatory findings against him appear in the sources consulted.

Cultural footprint

N3on's arc illustrates the late cycle merger of streaming celebrity, gambling and token economics: a creator paid in the millions not to trade coins but to be the face of an ecosystem built on one. In the trenches he is cited as the clearest example of celebrity coin infrastructure buying distribution instead of building it. In 2026 Business Insider described him attempting an image rehab around sports content and his Muslim faith, while his content pivoted toward crypto wealth tourism: in June 2026 he streamed from Monaco and Dubai interviewing crypto rich figures, and clips of him asking the richest crypto trader in Monaco why Bitcoin crashed circulated widely. The trench commentator rasmr mocked the genre, posting that Dubai crypto millionaires on N3on's stream talking about Saylor unraveling was "a bit overblown". In late July 2026 N3on appeared on Logan Paul and Mike Majlak's Impaulsive podcast; a clip of him telling Majlak to "look in the mirror and say maybe I need to have a kid, maybe I need to start a family" drew more than 960,000 views.
