Mitch is a Solana memecoin trader famous for running a tiny 2024 starting stake to a multi million dollar portfolio without selling, for the hold culture that grew around him, and for the MITCH creator token launched under his idrawline identity.

Mitch is a memecoin trader active on Solana under the online identity idrawline, famous in the trenches for one of the most retold runs in memecoin folklore: starting in early 2024 with almost nothing and riding unsold positions to a portfolio community trackers put at about 8 million dollars at peak. He is tracked as "Mitch" on kolscan and other wallet leaderboards, and his labeled wallet appears in The Alpha Club's list of the top twenty memecoin trader wallets. He appeared on the live kolscan daily leaderboard as recently as August 18, 2026.

The 2024 run

Mitch's fame rests on a single arc. Community retellings date the start of his journey to February 2024 with a stake of one SOL, from which he built a portfolio that onchain watchers estimated at roughly 8 million dollars at its peak. What made the run legend was not just the number but the method: he did not sell. Observers documenting his wallet in early 2025 noted that "every coin on there he's bought and never sold," with peak estimates around 8 million dollars and fan claims running as high as 25 million. A July 2024 interview circulated under the title "From Broke to Crypto Whale: His $10M Journey in Meme Coins." The same refusal to sell meant he round tripped most of it when the market turned, and the retellings carry both halves: the trader who ran nothing into millions, and the cautionary tale who watched it retract because he would not take profit. The arc made him, in one fan account's words, "the undisputed king of Solana Trenches and corona of hold culture."

Trading career

Mitch trades new launches in the trenches, primarily pump.fun tokens. KOL Explorer listed him at rank 57 with a win rate of 38.5 percent at the time of research, a profile consistent with early entry trenching, where most positions lose and a minority of runners produce the profit. His wallet is included in community copy trading lists, and his daily results surface regularly in leaderboard screenshots shared across trench media.

A September 27, 2024 post documented a recurring pattern in his calls, trading virally memed TikTok animal coins: "Last time Mitch (@idrawline) bought a TikTok animal meme coin, it did a 40X ROI... Now Mitch has picked up a new TikTok animal coin called $PUMBA," a documented specific call with numbers attached before the fact rather than in hindsight.

Suspension and the FreeMitch movement

By early July 2025 the idrawline X account was suspended, and a fan movement formed around getting it back. Supporters chanted "Free Mitch" in pump.fun livestreams, with one dedicated fan claiming to have accumulated the phrase more than 3.26 million times on stream, launched Free Mitch themed tokens, and transferred token supply to his wallet with public messages like "May your Twitter account be unblocked." The account remained suspended as of August 19, 2026, which is why his presence persists through wallet trackers rather than his own posts. On August 9, 2026 the official pump.fun account publicly shouted out idrawline alongside untaxxable, ieatjeets and slingoorio as names to find "on the Pumpfun app," evidence that the X suspension was still active thirteen months later and that pump.fun's social layer had become his outlet; one reply to the post claimed he had 500,000 followers on the app itself.

The MITCH token

Mitch is one of the traders whose identity became an asset. On September 2, 2025 he launched MITCH, a creator token under the idrawline name, and the launch instantly became its own legend: trackers reported his roughly 20,000 dollar creator buy was worth 15.8 million dollars within 20 hours, one observer documented the token being bought out for 17,000 dollars at a 22,000 dollar market cap and hitting 3 million dollars "in just 10 seconds," and fan accounts placed the all time high around a 41 million dollar market cap. The coin traded on Solana venues including PumpSwap and Raydium, with availability on several centralized exchanges including LBank and BitMart. Coverage by WEEX describes MITCH as a creator token, a category that ties a coin's fortunes to a personality's visibility, making the price sensitive to his posts and viral moments. True to form, Mitch held his own coin through the drawdown too: in November 2025 one critic tallied the position as "lost 7 million dollars in less than half a year," asking how far conviction should go. As with all personality coins, holders are exposed to the trader's reputation as much as to any fundamentals. The identity as asset phenomenon extends beyond the token itself: a ticker styled "$idrawline" circulates in trench reply threads alongside "$aura."

Controversies

The sources consulted record no specific allegations against Mitch. Creator tokens as a category attract standing criticism, discussed in aggregator and exchange coverage generally, that they concentrate attention risk on one person and can enrich insiders at the expense of late buyers; no such accusation has been documented against Mitch specifically in the material reviewed.

Cultural footprint

Mitch sits in the tier of trenchers famous mainly to other trenchers: a name wallet watchers recognize instantly and outsiders have never heard. A fan account quoted a phrase attributed to him from his 2024 to 2025 run, "It's fucking finance fellas," still circulating as associated with him as of August 2026. The MITCH token made him an early example of the creator coin meta of 2025 and 2026, in which the market began pricing trench personalities directly, and his idrawline handle is a fixture of leaderboard culture. As of August 2026 his name was still invoked as a reference trader in banter ("Draw the line like @idrawline"), and he appears in community roll call tags alongside gainzy, rasmr and slingoor era names.
