The project describes itself as a fair launch community coin for entertainment, with a disclaimer denying affiliation with Robinhood Markets or PBS, the latter a wink at the 1995 PBS television series about a daydreaming Jack Russell terrier named Wishbone. Wishbone's drawdown coincided with a broader loss of faith in the chain's meme cohort. In a widely shared late July post amid discussion of WISHBONE and its peers, trader @michyexe wrote that "most of robinhood chain is one coordinated exit with a better logo," a sentiment that circulated through the trenches as the July charts bled. Holders counter that the coin survived the flush with its community and liquidity intact, which as of mid August 2026 remains true, if at a much smaller size.
