ACT, branded Act I The AI Prophecy, is a Solana AI meme coin that rose more than 2,000 percent on its November 2024 Binance listing and later suffered a notorious flash crash.

ACT (Act I: The AI Prophecy) is a meme coin on the Solana blockchain associated with the "Act I" project, a community experiment in collective human and AI interaction that emerged from the same October 2024 wave as Goatseus Maximus. It is remembered for two events: the most violent Binance listing candle of the cycle, and one of the strangest flash crashes in exchange history.

Origin

Act I began as a research oriented community around AI agents, with the token launched on pump.fun in October 2024 and adopted as the project's marker. Coverage at the time described repeated conflicts between the community and earlier developers before the coin's community takeover. As the Truth Terminal narrative pulled capital into anything AI branded, ACT traded quietly below two cents through late October 2024.

Market history

On November 11, 2024, Binance announced a spot listing of ACT alongside Peanut the Squirrel. The token rose roughly 2,000 percent within hours, from about 0.019 dollars to 0.47 dollars, and reached an all time high around 0.71 dollars on November 13, 2024, with market capitalization figures near 700 million dollars at the peak; the move was labeled a "god candle" in trench parlance and volume surged more than 16,000 percent. ACT then declined with the AI meta. On April 1, 2025, ACT fell about 50 percent in roughly 30 minutes on Binance after the exchange cut leverage position limits for its perpetual contract with under three hours' notice; Binance attributed the cascade to sales by three VIP users and a large spot deposit, while analysts blamed the abrupt margin changes for liquidating market makers. The crash spilled into other tokens and became a case study in exchange microstructure risk. A second, distinct crash hit ACT on April 14, 2025, down about 27 percent; the same post that reported it pegged the earlier April 1 drop at 60 percent rather than the roughly 50 percent figure other sources give, with both crashes blamed on Binance spot and futures volume. The token now trades far below both events.

CT lore still credits a KOL wallet called SkyeSharkie with shilling ACT near a 20 million dollar market cap on the way to what posters describe as an 880 million dollar run, a claim recirculated more than a year after the peak when the same account moved on to a new coin called Claude Body. The 880 million dollar figure is higher than the roughly 700 million dollar peak reported above and should be read as CT recollection rather than a verified number.

Cultural impact

ACT's listing candle is the canonical image of the November 2024 Binance effect, when a listing announcement alone could multiply a coin twenty fold in an afternoon and "Binance listing" became the terminal state every trench coin aspired to. Its April 2025 flash crash then became the counter lesson: centralized exchange plumbing could destroy a coin as fast as it anointed one. The pairing of both extremes in a single asset gives ACT its permanent place in meme coin history.
