MANLET is a Solana meme coin that spun out of the Ansem and Black Bull wave of summer 2026, a small white cartoon character pitched as the underdog companion to the trader's unofficial coin.

MANLET is a meme coin on Solana that emerged in late June 2026 from the community orbiting Ansem, the crypto Twitter trader whose unofficial coin The Black Bull had just run roughly 20,000 percent in a week. The word manlet is internet slang for a short man, a nickname the timeline has long applied to Ansem with varying degrees of affection, and the coin's mascot is a simple white cartoon figure. Exchange write ups from WEEX described it as a community driven token "backing Ansem and Black Bulls narratives," positioned as the spirited underdog counterpart to the main coin, with early distribution that included an airdrop to Black Bull holders.

Origin of the name

The specific phrase "gm manlets" predates the June 2026 token by years. It was the long running signature greeting of prominent crypto Twitter trader Hsaka (@HsakaTrades, nearly 600,000 followers), addressed affectionately to his own audience, whom he called manlets. Verified examples run from at least December 23, 2023 through July 29, 2024, and other accounts anticipated the ritual as early as February 2024, posting "Inb4 Hsaka says 'Gm manlets'" (@Arshmeister). Traders in the community explicitly credit Hsaka rather than Ansem for the term, recalling "you used to say 'gm manlets' and we would pump sol" (@CoconutRiskMGMT, January 28, 2025). The 2026 coin trades on this preexisting, multi year crypto Twitter in group nickname as much as on any specific Ansem association, and the term also carries an independently documented 4chan lineage; coverage described the coin as positioning itself as the "small but ambitious" group of supporters within the Black Bull community.

The Black Bull ecosystem manlet spun out of has its own documented origin: an anonymous deployer spent about $6,300 to create the Black Bull token on Pump.fun around June 17, 2026, then transferred 650 million tokens directly into Ansem's own wallet without his direct involvement in the deployment. Crypto press has reported Ansem's real name as Zion Thomas, though as with other pseudonymous crypto Twitter traders, that identification is not independently confirmed here and Ansem himself has not adopted it publicly.

July run

The token launched through pump.fun in the last days of June 2026, as the Ansem meta peaked following his June 28 pledge to give his pump.fun creator fees back to traders. WEEX listed the MANLET/USDT spot pair on July 3, 2026 at 11:00, and on July 4, 2026 KuCoin's news desk reported the coin above a 17 million dollar market capitalization, up roughly 700 percent in 24 hours on more than 9 million dollars of volume. A parody spinoff token called $womanlet was pushed by traders as a companion joke coin that same day, July 4, 2026. Price trackers place its all time high in the second week of July, after which the chart bled out with the rest of the Ansem complex. As with most memes of the period, several tokens used the name, and no version was endorsed by Ansem himself, who publicly disavowed the coins trading on his identity.

Community takeover

A persistent community belief conflicted with Ansem's general public disavowal of copycats: bios and posts state "anything I receive I'll ape in ansem or the manlet coin ansem is holding" (@officialsurk) and "Manlet, one of the top coins in ansem's wallet" (@moodywsw, July 6, 2026), attributed community claims rather than confirmed facts. By July 23, 2026, an account named @manletsolanaa was styling itself the "ONLY OFFICAL CTO" of manlet on Pump.fun and claiming trading fees would be airdropped to $ANSEM holders. One holder publicly asked Ansem to get in contact with the new CTO, writing "this coin went through it but i genuinely believe it just needs the right team pushing it" (@Issy100X, July 23, 2026).

August revival

In early August 2026 the ticker came back. Screenshots circulated on X claiming Ansem had posted the manlet character in his discord, with posts crediting the coin's four figure percentage jump to the mention; the claim spread widely but rests on those circulating posts rather than any public statement. DexScreener shows the actively traded MANLET pools, tied to the site manlet.life and the account @_manlet, dating from the first week of August, and as of mid August 2026 the coin holds a market capitalization around 1.4 million dollars with daily volume that has exceeded a million dollars.

Significance

MANLET is a clean example of the derivative coin pattern in the trenches: when a personality meta runs, the second wave of launches trades on adjacent lore rather than the person, and can outlive the original leg on nothing more than a rumor of insider attention. The Hsaka linked greeting became a distinct in group ritual in its own right: "Gmanlet" was posted repeatedly by holders such as @Sanity100x, and "Once a manlet, always a manlet" appears as a personal bio mantra for holder @Kriist00. MANLET is also remembered as a genuinely notable trade of the cycle: it appears in a widely viewed recap (43,586 views) of the period's biggest "cooks," alongside dozens of other named tokens (@shaams, July 27, 2026), and it is separately grouped with cupsey and hanta(virus) as a coin where selling too early became a lasting trader regret, since the price kept running after early sellers exited (@BlackDuval_, July 20, 2026).
