MANLET is a meme coin on [[Solana]] that emerged in late June 2026 from the community orbiting [[Ansem]], the crypto Twitter trader whose unofficial coin [[The Black Bull]] had just run roughly 20,000 percent in a week. The word manlet is internet slang for a short man, a nickname the timeline has long applied to Ansem with varying degrees of affection, and the coin's mascot is a simple white cartoon figure. Exchange write ups from WEEX described it as a community driven token "backing Ansem and Black Bulls narratives," positioned as the spirited underdog counterpart to the main coin, with early distribution that included an airdrop to Black Bull holders.

## July run

The token launched through [[pump.fun]] in the last days of June 2026, as the Ansem meta peaked following his June 28 pledge to give his pump.fun creator fees back to traders. WEEX listed a MANLET spot pair on July 3, and on July 4, 2026 KuCoin's news desk reported the coin above a 17 million dollar market capitalization, up roughly 700 percent in 24 hours on more than 9 million dollars of volume. Price trackers place its all time high in the second week of July, after which the chart bled out with the rest of the Ansem complex. As with most memes of the period, several tokens used the name, and no version was endorsed by Ansem himself, who publicly disavowed the coins trading on his identity.

## August revival

In early August 2026 the ticker came back. Screenshots circulated on X claiming Ansem had posted the manlet character in his discord, with posts crediting the coin's four figure percentage jump to the mention; the claim spread widely but rests on those circulating posts rather than any public statement. DexScreener shows the actively traded MANLET pools, tied to the site manlet.life and the account @_manlet, dating from the first week of August, and as of mid August 2026 the coin holds a market capitalization around 1.4 million dollars with daily volume that has exceeded a million dollars.

## Significance

MANLET is a clean example of the derivative coin pattern in [[the trenches]]: when a personality meta runs, the second wave of launches trades on adjacent lore rather than the person, and can outlive the original leg on nothing more than a rumor of insider attention.
