Biscotti ($BISCOTTI) is a memecoin on Robinhood Chain built on Biscotti Lingonberry, the third known character in designer Pasquale D'Silva's Lingonberry AI character line, whose token pool went live August 26, 2026 and scaled more than 11,000 percent the same day.
Biscotti ($BISCOTTI) is a memecoin on Robinhood Chain built on Biscotti Lingonberry, the third known character in designer Pasquale D'Silva's Lingonberry AI character line, after Tanaki and Spark, and the son, per the character's own bible, of the line's first character, Tanaki. Its token pool went live at 17:01:04 UTC on August 26, 2026, National Dog Day in the United States, and the price scaled by more than 11,000 percent the same day: an intraday high of about +12,196 percent on an editor's scout read at 21:40 UTC gave way to +11,023 percent by roughly 22:15 UTC after a pullback. Market capitalization moved on the same arc, from an editor's scout read of about $6.54 million at 21:40 UTC to about $5.92 million around 22:15 UTC, on 24 hour trading volume of roughly $18.5 million spread across 30 separate pools carrying a combined liquidity of only about $597,000, a thin base under the volume it was doing.
Origin
Biscotti Lingonberry is written as a male "Dynamic Retriever," the son of Tanaki Lingonberry, "first of the line," whom Biscotti's own bible names as his god. His stated physical basis is a Boston Dynamics Spot robot body carrying "fluffy, soft puppet creature features, a springy tail with a pom pom on the tip, and a harlequin costume," with catchphrases including "MAMA MIA," "ITSA ME," and "AWOOFA." The character and bible are the work of designer Pasquale D'Silva, who publishes as GitHub user "psql" and posts as X account @okpasquale. Every commit in the character's repository, 28 of them in a fresh pull, is authored by Pasquale D'Silva under the email on file for that account, and GitHub's own structured profile field links that account directly to @okpasquale. @okpasquale's own bio, in turn, reads "characters, robots, magic / @playbiscotti," a link running from the designer's own profile toward the project rather than the other way around. Professional profile listings on The Org, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn, alongside his own portfolio site, independently confirm this is the working designer and animator Pasquale D'Silva: CEO and CTO and founder of Lingonberry Intelligence, formerly CEO at Thinko, founder of Keezy, a product designer at Elepath, a creative director at MindSnacks, and a designer and animator at Johnny Cupcakes. The character line itself has a paper trail: log.md, carried into the Biscotti repository from the earlier Tanaki project, documents Lingonberry Intelligence (also called Lingonberry Studios) building AI character products since at least May 2024, including a bot built for Know Your Meme's mascot "KYM Tan."
The GitHub repository for Biscotti was created July 25, 2026, and is not itself a GitHub tracked fork of anything, despite carrying forward git history copied over from the earlier Tanaki project as ordinary committed history (the earliest of those inherited commits dates to May 2023). The repository's own creation, and its first Biscotti specific commits, made the same day, predate the token's pool launch by 32 days: the character bible existed for more than a month before any token did. That bible frames Biscotti's "robot dog" as aspirational rather than built. The character's physical form is meant to be funded into existence, and as of a site reading taken 22:16 UTC on August 26, 2026, confirmed unchanged from an earlier same day reading, the site's own crowdfunding meter showed unlock 01 ("base quadruped chassis") at 16 percent and not yet unlocked, with unlock 02 ("street kit") next in line at 6 percent. No physical robot has been built.
The token's on chain logo function points to a file on Vercel's blob storage service whose own filename identifies it as a Grok generated image, in the storage system's own naming convention; a fresh header check found the file was first served at essentially the same second as the on chain launch, 17:00:57 GMT on August 26, 2026, rather than staged in advance. No EXIF, C2PA, or Grok or xAI side metadata was found independently confirming the generator; the filename itself is the only source for that attribution.
A 2025 tweet addressing @okpasquale alongside the handles @sparkcapital, @sparkboinkboink, and @IllusionOfLife, asking "sounds cool but why buy the coin," once raised the question of whether an earlier Biscotti coin existed. It resolves cleanly: Spark Lingonberry is a real, distinct, earlier character in the same Lingonberry line, predating Biscotti by roughly a year, with its own account, @sparkboinkboink, run in part by a named collaborator, Kevin Fischer, and its own token listings across chains. It is a predecessor character with its own coin, not an earlier Biscotti token.
The launch
BISCOTTI launched through "Pons V2," a real, independently documented launchpad on Robinhood Chain operated by Pons Labs, LLC, not a hand rolled deploy. Its documentation lives at docs.ponsfamily.com/v2, the same domain family behind Pons, the chain's dominant launchpad token; independent coverage and a live DefiLlama protocol listing describe it as non custodial, processing tens of thousands of daily active addresses and well over 100,000 token launches, charging a flat 0.0005 ETH fee to launch a token and a 1 percent trade fee split 70 percent to a token's creator and 30 percent to the protocol. The verified contract source for Pons V2's launch mechanism contains no reference to Emblem Vault anywhere, and Emblem Vault's own trading page for this exact token contains no reference to Pons. The only established connection between the two is that playbiscotti.com's buy button, captioned "buy $BISCOTTI" and calling it "the official token on Robinhood Chain," routes to Emblem Vault's generic token trading page for the contract. Emblem Vault functions here as a separate front end trading page the site links out to, not the launch mechanism itself.
The deployer wallet, an ordinary externally owned account, was funded by a separate wallet in two transfers, 0.01 ETH and about 1.18 ETH, both around 16:46 to 16:47 UTC on August 26, 2026, roughly 1.19 ETH total. At 17:00:54 UTC it deployed a per token fee splitter, and at 17:00:56 UTC it called Pons V2's launch and buy function, sending 0.7305 ETH in total; the quoted buy amount itself was 0.73 ETH exactly, with the remaining 0.0005 ETH matching Pons V2's flat launch fee. The launch parameters set a creator tax of 30 basis points, a 0.30 percent tax on the token's own trades paid to its creator, with the platform's optional automatic buyback feature left switched off. The resulting pool went live eight seconds later, at 17:01:04 UTC, per DexScreener.
About two hours twenty minutes after launch, at 19:20:50 UTC, the deployer claimed accrued trading fees from a verified fee escrow contract, roughly 0.195 ETH in total, which the fee splitter divided into about 0.137 ETH (about $341) paid directly to the deployer wallet and about 0.059 ETH (about $146) paid to a Gnosis SafeL2 multisig. Later that evening, at 19:34:47 UTC, the deployer sent 0.1 WETH back to the same wallet that had funded its launch, a further settlement of proceeds between the deployer and its funder, separate from the fee splitter payouts.
Separately from the on chain mechanics, the evidence for a coordinated, official launch rather than a fan deploy is strong. playbiscotti.com was registered July 18, 2026, about a week before the GitHub repository was created and well over a month before the token's launch; the @playbiscotti X account followed on August 17, 2026, nine days before launch. The domain, the character bible, and the X account were all stood up by the same identifiable operator over a month before any token existed, which weighs heavily against an impersonator having later been embraced by the team. No Wayback Machine snapshot of playbiscotti.com exists from before the launch day. On chain, the launch call's name, symbol, logo, and four of its five socials fields match the GitHub bible and site verbatim; its description field is a distinct piece of chain only copy ("BISCOTTI. robot. dog. has a wallet. biscotti.eth. does not have pockets...") that does not appear word for word in the bible, README, or site, though it is thematically consistent with the bible's references to the character's wallet.
The breakout
Trading fragmented across 30 separate pools, 29 on Uniswap V4 and one on Uniswap V3, with new pools still appearing more than four hours after launch before creation stopped; the newest pool is timestamped 21:37:37 UTC in both an earlier and a later same day pull. Combined 24 hour volume across all 30 pools reached about $18.5 million, up slightly from an earlier same day read of about $18.33 million, against total liquidity of only about $597,000, down from an earlier same day read of about $609,000, a volume figure many multiples larger than the liquidity underneath it, typical of heavy churn on a launch day rather than settled trading. By quote token the pools split nine in ETH, twelve in USDG, and nine in WETH, making USDG the largest single quote group at twelve of the 30, though ETH and WETH combined still account for a majority of the pools. The largest ETH pair alone carried about $13.3 million of that volume against about $225,000 of liquidity; the largest USDG pair carried about $2.0 million of volume against about $70,000 of liquidity.
Blockscout's holder table shows the deployer wallet still holding about 30.01 percent of total supply, unmoved since an earlier same day pull, while the holder count grew organically over the same window, from 4,729 to 4,783. Two of the other largest holders are not what they first appear. A verified "V2LaunchLocker" contract holds a steady 8.16 percent, unchanged across pulls. The Uniswap V4 PoolManager singleton rose from about 2.95 percent to about 3.56 percent, overtaking a separate wallet that stayed essentially flat at about 3.11 percent and swapping their third and fourth place ranks. That shift is mechanical rather than a whale accumulating: PoolManager's balance is the sum of liquidity pooled across every one of BISCOTTI's many pairs, and its share grew simply because more pools kept being created.
The catalyst
BISCOTTI's first identified promotion landed by an accident of timing rather than any deliberate push. At 17:29:28 UTC on August 26, 2026, twenty eight minutes after the token's pool went live, the verified @RobinhoodApp account, with 1.33 million followers, posted to its own audience, unrelated to any token: "Today is for the dogs. Show us the goodest one you know, and you might get some swag," marking National Dog Day. Forty six seconds later, the account @apoorvcrypto, with 7,042 followers, replied directly under that post: "@RobinhoodApp it's from @okpasquale," attaching an image of an orange, fluffy cartoon dog head in a harlequin jester collar, visually consistent with the bible's harlequin costume design. A large, official Robinhood post, timed to a real calendar holiday and posted minutes after Biscotti's own launch, became the exact venue where the token's art received its earliest documented promotion and credit to its creator. No evidence was found that @RobinhoodApp itself ever mentioned, replied to, or liked anything Biscotti specific, though the post's 1,212 replies were not individually audited within the research done for this article. No engagement with Biscotti from Vlad Tenev was found in any source searched.
The coincidence traces to the calendar, not to any Robinhood involvement. Per the bible, Biscotti's Robin Hood theming is explicitly drawn from the 1973 Disney film, a "canine who gives" and takes from the rich to give to the poor, not from any claimed relationship with the Robinhood brokerage or the Robinhood Chain team, a different reference than Cash Cat's Robinhood branded naming lore on the same chain.
Status
As of August 26, 2026, several threads remain open. No first party launch post from @playbiscotti or @okpasquale announcing the token has been retrieved; direct, unauthenticated access to x.com has also tightened since research on this story began, now returning an HTTP 402 Payment Required response. Who created BISCOTTI's USDG pool, roughly ten minutes after the main ETH pool, is unresolved: the deployer wallet's own transaction history shows no interaction at that timestamp, so a separate party or automatic platform behavior is the likelier explanation, unconfirmed either way. And beyond the deployer's 30.01 percent, the V2LaunchLocker contract's 8.16 percent, and the PoolManager contract's pooled liquidity share, how concentrated the remaining supply is among identifiable holders has not been established.
