His bio describes him as "highly focused on retiring my bloodline strictly through memecoins," his listed location is "Solangeles", the CT joke blending Solana and Los Angeles, and his feed mixes coin calls, market polls, and crude running jokes in roughly equal measure. His identity is not publicly known.

## Catfish Calls by Poe

Poe's main distribution channel is Catfish Calls by Poe, a [[Telegram]] channel logged at 36,855 subscribers in a May 2026 TelegramInformer snapshot and surfacing at about 40,000 in August 2026 search captures; the tracking site lists it among the larger US crypto channels, and his X profile's website field points straight at the channel rather than any product. The channel posts tickers with entry market caps and running commentary, and its self description is unusually blunt for the [[alpha group]] genre: "I degen hard af. Nothing on this channel is financial advice," alongside an admission that "I am working to pump my bags & urs." That framing, openly self interested rather than dressed up as research, is central to his brand and is often cited by followers as the reason they trust him more than polished [[KOL]] operations. The self awareness runs through the operation's plumbing: business inquiries go through a Telegram handle literally named @poejeet, the channel mixes casino affiliate promotions such as MetaWin deposit match codes in with the token calls, and one archived apology reading "Oops suppose to be in shitty call channel" implies he maintains a separate channel for lower conviction calls. Channel voice artifacts include "Forgive me I am drunk on beach".

The catfish name is itself an open admission. In a June 2022 exchange, the trader [[pow|Pow]] joked "So you're telling me you're not a girl?!?! KEK", and Poe replied "You never heard me on spaces lmao. My channel is literally called catfish", acknowledging that the presented persona, which some followers had taken to be female, may not be real. Whether anything about the persona is genuine remains unresolved, and the exchange is banter rather than biography. The same thread preserves handle history: Pow's reply addresses @Poe_Ether, indicating the account used that handle in its Ethereum era before becoming @poe_real69, consistent with the POΞ display name that still carries the Ethereum glyph.

The win claim genre is represented by an archived May 2025 post calling $ASSDAQ an "absolute sendooor" from a 69,000 dollar entry to 950,000, a run a later channel post extended to 3 million dollars, all self reported. The persistent theme is meme liquidity rotation: whatever the trenches are bidding that week, Poe usually has a position and a post about it.

## Reception

As with any caller, the record is contested terrain. Followers credit him with early entries on runners; skeptics apply the standard criticism of the caller genre, that a channel with tens of thousands of followers moves the low caps it names, making every call partly self fulfilling and every exit somebody else's [[exit liquidity]]. Poe's own disclaimers concede the point in advance. Twitterscore ranks the account #2,959 of more than 480,000 tracked crypto accounts, lists [[Threadguy]], [[Murad Mahmudov|Murad]], [[Loomdart]], Luca Netz, and the Base account among its followers, and describes it as maintaining an affiliate relationship with the memecoin trading terminal Padre. His August 2026 mentions are a fair one line portrait of a mid tier caller's life: strangers pitching contract addresses at him, a 40,000 follower account replying just "Shill me", a fan cheering "When POE wins we all eat!!", and a heckler writing "No one cares about you, 'KOL'". Community roll call threads from the same month list him alongside [[Gake]], traderpow, [[PoorGoat]], and a dozen other trench names, the tier of caller company he keeps in community discourse.
