Cheems is the family of meme coins named for Balltze, the Shiba Inu behind the Cheems meme, spanning a Binance listed flagship on BNB Chain, assorted Solana tributes, and a July 2026 Robinhood Chain contender pitched as that chain's dog coin.
Cheems is not one coin but a recurring one, the collective name for tokens built on the face of Balltze, the Hong Kong Shiba Inu whose cheeseburger memes made him the second great meme dog after Kabosu. Since his death in August 2023 the name has been minted on nearly every chain that hosts a meme scene, and as of mid August 2026 it exists at three very different scales at once.
The flagship on BNB Chain
The largest Cheems token lives on BNB Chain, describes itself as fully community held, and was listed on Binance on February 9, 2025, reaching a market capitalization above $170 million by March 2025 per market trackers. In July 2025 the project announced a Cheems Foundation for meme culture and charity initiatives. As of mid August 2026 it trades near a $97 million market capitalization per DexScreener and CoinGecko, making it one of the most valuable dog coins outside the Dogecoin and Shiba lineages. As with all of these tokens, Balltze's estate has no role; the coins trade on an image the internet already owned.
Solana tributes
Solana has hosted Cheems tokens since at least December 2023, none of which broke out. In July 2026 the largest sat around a $700,000 market capitalization, a fact Robinhood Chain promoters used as a valuation argument for their own version.
The Robinhood Chain contender
A new cheems launched on Robinhood Chain on July 22, 2026, and became a minor Crypto Twitter trend through August. Its boosters pitched the meme's pedigree against the chain's homegrown winners: trader @bazzymate argued Cheems is "the meme that arguably inspired both $pipedog and $cashcat," then trading at eight figures, while cheems sat at $120,000. Others, led by @winallday_, framed it as inevitable: "cheems will be the dog coin of robinhood, it's not even an if at this point it's a when." As of mid August 2026 the Robinhood Chain cheems trades around a $60,000 market capitalization with tens of thousands of dollars in daily volume per DexScreener, a real but unresolved bet that Cash Cat's chain wants a dog. All claims of destiny are the holders' own.
Legacy
Whatever any single chart does, Cheems keeps getting reminted because the underlying asset, Balltze's face, is among the most recognized dog images on earth, behind only Kabosu's. In the trenches that makes the name permanently available, and permanently contested.
