Axiom is the dominant Solana trading terminal as of August 2026 with a 0.95 to 0.75 percent fee ladder, Photon is a flat 1 percent legacy terminal that has kept most of its 2024 feature set but lost most of its market share, and BullX has been unusable since its trading functionality was suspended on June 1, 2026.

Between BullX, Axiom and Photon, Axiom is the terminal to use as of August 2026: it charges the lowest effective fee, holds the largest share of Solana trading terminal volume, and remains fully operational, while Photon still works but has fallen behind on both fees and market share, and BullX cannot currently be used at all because its trading functionality has been suspended since June 1, 2026. All three are web based Solana trading terminals built for buying and selling pump.fun launches on the way to graduation and other tokens quickly, and all three defined a different phase of the trenches: Photon led 2024, BullX contested it through 2025, and Axiom has led since early 2025. A fourth terminal, GMGN, competes with all three on smart money wallet tracker features but is not part of this three way comparison; an October 2025 DefiLlama snapshot ranked Axiom fourth on Solana by revenue behind Jupiter, pump.fun, and Phantom.

Fees compared

Axiom publishes a seven tier cashback ladder on top of a 1 percent base fee: 0.95 percent net at the entry Wood tier, falling to 0.90, 0.875, 0.85, 0.825 and 0.80 percent through the middle tiers, down to 0.75 percent at the top Champion tier, with an additional 10 percent discount available through a referral link (Axiom's fee documentation as read via Axiompedia on August 14, 2026). Photon charges a flat 1 percent on every buy and every sell with no cashback tiers and no referral discount at all, a gap a 2026 review calls the platform's main competitive disadvantage (Pump Parade, 2026). BullX charged roughly 1 percent per swap, reduced to 0.9 percent with a referral, before its suspension (solanatradingbots.com, 2026); that fee schedule is now moot since trades cannot be placed.

Features compared

Axiom, built by its founders Henry Zhang and Preston Ellis as part of Y Combinator's Winter 2025 batch, bundles the widest feature set of the three: a live token discovery feed called Pulse, integrated wallet tracker and copy trading tools built on the same reflexive following of profitable wallets that Kolscan and KOL Explorer specialize in, and perpetual futures through a Hyperliquid integration, all in one interface, alongside a points program that has driven sustained volume farming ahead of a rumored, unconfirmed token. Photon's core feature, a discovery screen called Memescope that streams new tokens from pump.fun and other launchpads through configurable filters, was the standard for sniper style trading through 2024, paired with embedded wallets so users never have to sign each transaction externally; it added RugCheck style risk data directly on token pages, but has not matched Axiom's perps or points layers, and neither embeds a full Bubblemaps style cluster view, so a bundle check still means a separate tab. BullX NEO, before suspension, combined multi chart layouts, developer wallet tracker analysis, and embedded RugCheck risk flags, distinguishing it from pure Telegram bots like Trojan and BonkBot by pairing a web dashboard for research with a Telegram component for fast execution. All three let a trader set a custom priority fee or Jito tip to win a block during a congested bonding curve launch, the same mechanism that makes MEV style sandwich risk a live concern across every terminal on this page.

Speed claims

Independent tests cited by Pump Parade, measuring time from click to on chain confirmation across high volatility launches, put Photon at approximately 400 milliseconds against BullX at around 450 milliseconds, a roughly 50 millisecond edge for Photon that the review calls marginal rather than decisive (Pump Parade, March 25, 2026). Axiom does not publish a comparable independent latency benchmark; its speed pitch instead centers on its proprietary Pulse discovery feed surfacing new pump.fun launches before they trend elsewhere, and on out executing rivals during high traffic launches by virtue of being the terminal most traders are already routing volume through, a network effect claim rather than a measured one. Traders on crypto Twitter compare terminals informally during specific launches more often than they cite formal benchmarks, and no single source has published a three way Axiom, Photon, BullX latency test as of August 2026.

Incidents and reliability

BullX is the only one of the three with an active, unresolved reliability failure: on May 31, 2026 the team announced in Discord and on its website that trading in the current app version would be suspended from June 1, 2026, "to focus on future development," keeping wallet withdrawals operational but shipping no timeline or roadmap since (CryptoTimes, June 1, 2026). The shutdown drew particular criticism because BullX had reportedly collected around 200 million dollars in fees on more than 12 billion dollars of volume while a long speculated BULLX token airdrop never materialized (ourcryptotalk.com, June 2026); coverage as of August 2026 treats the closure as effectively permanent. Neither Axiom nor Photon has a comparable platform wide outage on record; Photon's team, Tiny Astro, has operated the product continuously since its wide launch around January 2024, and Axiom has run without a major reported incident since opening to the public in mid February 2025.

Who each suits

Axiom suits an active trader who wants charts, wallet tracker feeds, sniper entries, and perpetual futures without leaving one tab, and who is comfortable farming a points program with no confirmed payout; it is the terminal a trader whose cabal already routes volume through Axiom will default to. Photon suits a trader who values Memescope's discovery filters and embedded wallets and is not chasing the lowest fee, though its flat 1 percent with no discount tier is a real cost for high frequency traders. BullX, as of August 2026, suits no one for active trading; existing users can still withdraw funds but cannot place new trades, and anyone choosing a terminal today should treat it as discontinued until the team ships a next generation version with a public date attached. Traders who want the same job done from a phone rather than a browser tab tend to look past all three toward fomo or Telegram bots such as Trojan, BonkBot, Maestro and Nova, and the acquisition and shutdown of the mobile app Vector in late 2025 is a reminder that terminal choice in the trenches turns over quickly. For confirming a token's chart and liquidity independent of whichever terminal executes the trade, DexScreener and Solscan remain the standard cross checks regardless of which of the three a trader picks, the same discipline covered in how to spot a rug pull.
