Brodie was the cleanest artifact: a real dog, named by the company itself in 2016, with a citable primary source on X. The community framing, used on the token's site brodiehasfun.com, is that Robinhood named the dog and "the internet made him a coin" ten years later. The token launched permissionlessly on Uniswap deployed liquidity on the chain and has no affiliation with Robinhood.
Market history
The token's main pair went live in mid July 2026 and it ran with the first wave of Robinhood Chain memes, when trench personalities were rotating into the new chain. CryptoRank records an all time high price of about 0.0067 dollars on July 26, 2026, an implied market capitalization of about 6.7 million dollars on its billion token supply. The chart then bled with the rest of the cohort, and as of mid August 2026 BRODIE trades at a market capitalization of about 860,000 dollars per DexScreener and CryptoRank.
Community story
Brodie's community sells the coin as the "good boy" of Robinhood Chain, the wholesome counterweight to the chain's more degenerate mascots like Hoodrat. Because the dog itself is company history rather than an internet meme, the coin's lore consists mostly of resurfacing old Robinhood dog content and lobbying, so far unsuccessfully, for any acknowledgment from the company. It is regularly listed among the recognizable names of the chain's first meme coin summer alongside Frong and Stonkbroker.
