Zrool is a cryptocurrency trader and streamer who posts on X as @TheRealZrool. He is part of the trench trading personality cohort catalogued in KOL datasets built around kolscan and related trackers, and he combines trading content with a streaming presence that predates his crypto visibility.

## Trading career

The January 2026 KOL intelligence dataset describes Zrool as a high energy trader and influencer who publicly tracks his own income goals, claiming at points to have hit his yearly income target multiple times over within a single year. His content centers on personal trading success stories, hustle framing, and new crypto projects, and the dataset rates him with high collaboration potential, reflecting an engagement style that leans on celebration and momentum rather than technical analysis. As with most trench personalities, these figures are self reported and not independently audited.

The income goal claim now has a primary source: his 2025 year end post read, "I started the year with a crazy goal of making 400k and I hit it multiple times throughout the year. It changed my life forever," a self reported figure. He has also described the grind behind it directly, saying he went roughly eleven months without missing a day "on the scope," the memescope launch feed, before his first break in September 2025, and posted a "17 Months🔒" streak marker in February 2026. His catchphrase for grinding Chinese launch metas is "Ready for another day of Hunting the Chinese Microwaves."

Independent peer recognition backs the self reported numbers to some degree: flipski77's June 2026 "Best traders" list placed Zrool fifth, ahead of Cupsey, Euris and Ansem, a ranking repeated at fifth in an August 18, 2026 remake of the list by ElectroExtant, a notable standing for an account the dataset otherwise frames as motivational content.

## Competitive Fortnite

The dataset's framing of Zrool as purely a crypto personality omits his defining crossover fact: he is a Danish Fortnite streamer who still competes at a professional level. In December 2025 he played the 700,000 dollar Abu Dhabi Fortnite LAN duo event alongside pro player trippernn under the ManCity Esports banner, finishing top 8 for 35,000 dollars: "Showed up for the uncs!" His Twitch channel has roughly 110,000 followers per TwitchTracker.

## Public presence

Zrool's X account dates to January 2018, making him a comparatively long tenured account in a scene dominated by profiles created after 2023. His profile identifies him as a trader and streamer and lists an ambassadorship with the gaming hardware brand SteelSeries, an unusual crossover credential that reflects the overlap between gaming stream culture and the trenches. His follower count was 29,786 as of August 2026, up from earlier estimates.

His identity is self published rather than pseudonymous: his Instagram runs under "Mikkel 'Zrool' Nielsen." He turned 30 on March 9, 2026, writing "Made it through my 20's never working a real Job," and on December 31, 2024 wrote that five years earlier he had quit a job in banking, adding "This December I made what i'd make in 2 Years from the Job i quit."

Zrool's persona sits within the aspirational wing of trench posting, alongside accounts like Trey and Meechie, where the core content loop is public goal setting followed by public celebration. He is a frequent guest on Trey's streams, cameoing in what regulars call the Stim sessions. Dataset annotations advise that his claims are best treated as motivational content rather than verifiable track record, a caution applied broadly to self reporting callers in the pump.fun era.

## Callout culture

Zrool is also a vocal critic of trench mechanics. He has mocked tracked developers feeding their own bags, writing of one instance, "BWA buys 65% of a chart, and no one bothers to check the top holders before just slamming their paycheck into it like the sheep they are," and wrote a viral satire of pump.fun app KOL notifications featuring nyhrox asking "what's the narrative bro?" He has also argued the space is struggling on its own terms because "it's a solved game. People are too good now."

No third party allegations or controversies involving Zrool appear in the sources consulted.
