OnlyMarms (OnlyMarms) is a meme coin on the [[Solana]] blockchain launched through [[pump.fun]] in July 2026. It is attached to OnlyMarms, a safe for work OnlyFans page that academic researchers created to fund one of the longest running wildlife studies in the world after a federal grant fell through.

## Origin

The Marmot Adaptive Dynamics Lab, known as the M.A.D. Lab, has tracked yellow bellied marmots at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory near Crested Butte, Colorado continuously since 1962, a run UCLA's own newsroom describes as "now a 64 year effort, the second longest study of individually marked mammals in the world." After the National Science Foundation declined to continue funding the program amid broader federal cuts to research grants, UCLA ecology professor Daniel Blumstein and University of Ottawa professor Julien Martin opened an OnlyFans account promising "uncensored marmot content," turning field photos of the rodents into a subscription joke that went viral. Per UCLA's own account the page actually launched in late May 2026, slightly earlier than the June date sometimes cited elsewhere.
