Minikon is a TikTok influencer who became one of the most visible recruits in [[pump.fun]]'s 2025 campaign to bring established Web2 creators into [[pump.fun livestreaming]]. In Decrypt's December 2025 report on creator capital markets, Minikon was named alongside the boxer [[B Dave]] as one of the platform's early proof of concept successes: an outside creator who launched a token, streamed to it, and earned meaningful fees before the model faded. He posts on X as @Minikon, with about 13,800 followers as of August 2026. ## The recruitment era pump.fun relaunched livestreaming to just 5 percent of users on April 4, 2025, the infrastructure moment that made the recruitment drive, and Minikon's arc within it, possible. Through 2025, pump.fun professionalized its pursuit of mainstream creators. According to Decrypt's reporting, the platform hired recruiters offering short term contracts lasting weeks rather than years, with creator commitments to streaming time and token supply control; shipped "streamer backpack" kits to signed creators; paid clip farmers to push stream moments into social feeds; and in September 2025 restructured fees so that creator earnings rose roughly tenfold, with the single day creator payout record above 4 million dollars at the peak. pump.fun's Jake Hillhouse called Minikon a "shining example" of traditional creator onboarding, the platform's own framing of the proof of concept. Minikon, arriving with an existing TikTok audience rather than a crypto native one, was among the creators this machinery was built to showcase, and coverage of the period treated the launch as evidence that attention from any platform could be converted into on chain fees in [[the trenches]]. On joining, his stated ambition was explicit: "Ima be the Kai cenat of pump just watch," posted September 15, 2025. ## The Basedd house Minikon streamed as part of the Basedd creator house, posting "first day in the @basedd house" on September 20, 2025, the content house structure the pump.fun streamer meta copied from mainstream streaming. Community meme accounts turned the house's members, Jakey, Never Goon, Iseem, Minikon, OGShoots and Steve, into a running joke about "Basedd Bundles" Popeyes meals. On September 29, 2025 the French crypto news account Crypto Goku, with 113,000 followers, reported that pump.fun streamers [[SolJakey]], Never Goon, MiniKon and OG Shoots staged a fake plane crash on live stream for buzz, with the community quickly doubting its authenticity. This is an allegation from that account, not an adjudicated finding. Clip culture around the house's run produced artifacts like "Minikon is on a date with a bottle girl rn on Pump Fun" (October 25, 2025) and "Minikon just got kicked out of the Adin Ross press conference after getting patted down" (November 7, 2025), both from the PumpMoments clip account. A November 29, 2025 "the future of streaming on pump dot fun" roll call listed @Minikon alongside SolJakey, NeverGoon, OGshoots, [[Bagwork]], [[rasmr]], [[gainzy]] and bdave, placing him in the platform's named streamer cohort. His own theory of the meta, posted September 19, 2025, was that real content creators and creator houses were bringing big Web2 collaborations to pump.fun, and that creator coin runners would emerge once Web2 creators consistently worked with the same pump creators. ## Token trajectory The pattern that followed became the standard shape of the [[streamer meta]]. Decrypt reported that Minikon's token, like B Dave's, fell more than 90 percent from highs set shortly after launch, with creator earnings concentrated in the first days of trading while later buyers absorbed the decline. Reporting on the recruitment cohort found that most traditional creators stopped streaming on the platform once the initial hype and fee flow subsided, and Minikon's arc was cited in that context rather than as an exception to it. ## Significance Minikon's importance to trench history is structural rather than personal: the launch marked the moment pump.fun's growth strategy shifted from cultivating its own chaotic natives, like Bagwork, toward importing audiences from TikTok and mainstream streaming. The rapid decay of the recruited creators' tokens, contrasted with the platform's homegrown stars, became a standard argument on [[crypto twitter]] that attention could be bought but conviction could not, and that a creator token without a crypto native community behaved like any other short lived [[meme coin]]. ## References - https://decrypt.co/352919/creator-capital-markets-pump-fun-streaming-twitch - https://finance.yahoo.com/news/creator-capital-markets-pump-fun-190102362.html - https://www.kucoin.com/news/insight/PUMP/68dc83dcc01dfa0006393081 - https://x.com/Minikon/status/1967723034950979634 - https://x.com/Minikon/status/1969206751833550952 - https://x.com/PumpMoments/status/2005859258118586816 - https://x.com/Crypto__Goku/status/1972558425918742907 - https://x.com/PumpMoments/status/1981907809538277881 - https://x.com/PumpMoments/status/1986609215851413522 - https://x.com/stephenjohnii/status/1994897204675481733 - https://x.com/Minikon/status/1968876028706615471
