microduck is a memecoin on [[Robinhood Chain]] named for a real product: Hugging Face's own Microduck, a $399 open source reinforcement learning robot duck, unveiled the same day the token launched. Neither this token nor a separate, similarly named token on Solana has any connection to Hugging Face, a point worth stating plainly and early, since neither should be read as endorsed by or involved with the company. The token's own site, microduck.net, says as much itself in its meta description, calling itself "the unofficial community token inspired by the tiny open source software biped robot." What follows is less a coin profile than an investigation into the gap between the real robot and the token riding its name: a wallet that mass produces similarly themed launches, a mismatched contract address that circulated under two large accounts, and a real seam of organic robotics interest sitting alongside the farmed promotion. ## The real robot Hugging Face CEO Clement Delangue announced the robot himself, posting at 2026 08 27T11:05:16Z: "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FROM HUGGING FACE TODAY: We're unveiling Microduck. It's a tiny $399 open-source robot you can teach new tricks with reinforcement learning. It can walk, pick things up, get back up when it falls, and even roller-skate." TechCrunch's own coverage the same day carried the headline "Hugging Face is selling a cute $399 open source duck robot, Microduck"; MarkTechPost and Yahoo Tech covered it the following days. The robot stands about 9.8 inches tall, built on Hugging Face's LeRobot library following its April 2025 acquisition of French robotics company Pollen Robotics; only the software is open source, the mechanical and electronic hardware design files are not. No connection between Hugging Face and either token named after the robot, the Robinhood Chain token this article covers or the separate Solana token described below, was found anywhere in Hugging Face's own posts. One piece of misinformation muddied the coverage: a viral tweet hyping the real robot (@neildevrr, 226 followers, 2026 08 27, 107 likes) falsely claimed Hugging Face "just got acquired by Nvidia for $11B," a claim not supported by any press coverage found, which describes a research and robotics collaboration between the two companies, not an acquisition. The same false premise resurfaces in the Robinhood Chain token's own promotional X account: @MicroDuckNVDA (3,355 followers, created 2026 08 27T16:09:30Z, about five hours after the token's on chain launch) describes itself in its bio as "A Nvidia owned company, created by Hugging Face, launched the viral microduck. Paired with NVDA. Rewarded in NVDA. Soon to be in every house in the world," a claim the press coverage of the real robot does not support at any level. ## Launch and mechanics microduck is an ERC20 token at 18 decimals, contract 0xD5f1afEA47b1A9eab414D2ee740cF1d6d039E725 on Robinhood Chain, with a fixed total supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens minted in a single event at launch. The contract is not verified on Blockscout, a material fact for readers: is_verified reads false, which means the tax and owner behavior described below rest on a reverted eth_call rather than a readable, verified source, suggestive but not conclusive. The token launched through [[Pons]] V2, the same launchpad family documented on [[Biscotti]]'s own launch, via the verified router PonsV2LaunchAndBuy (0xe33E9E479dF8802cb0866d5d05258bEc4cF62948), method launchAndBuy, at 2026 08 27T11:24:24Z, the same calendar day as Hugging Face's own announcement. The launch wallet sent 0.04 NVDA, Robinhood's own tokenized NVIDIA stock (contract 0xd0601CE157Db5bdC3162BbaC2a2C8aF5320D9EEC), into the router as its buy in, alongside the flat 0.0005 ETH Pons V2 launch fee. The full 1,000,000,000 token supply minted to a pool contract, which forwarded 2,350,232.625065950405295217 microduck, about 0.235 percent of supply, back to the launch wallet as its fill. This makes microduck's flagship pool quoted directly against NVDA from the first block, the same mechanic documented on [[Artificial Inu]], reached through a different launchpad (Pons V2 here, Doppler and long.xyz there). GeckoTerminal's own record shows the launch graduating and migrating to a new pool 24 minutes later, at 2026 08 27T11:48:43Z. Two of microduck's largest holders point back to the same launchpad. A verified V2LaunchLocker contract holds about 8.16 percent of supply (0x267444D099b10fB5Ed7c3Cc7B7c767AdcA574952, created by 0xFdDE5a1E3cDF791Da71E49F817D70C7ceD72CC36), the same named locker contract type documented on Biscotti's own Pons V2 launch. A Uniswap V4 PoolManager, pooling liquidity across microduck's many pairs, holds about 3.5 percent. At least five of the next largest individual wallets carry an eip7702 proxy type with an on record implementation contract named Simple7702Account, confirmed by inspecting each holder's implementations field directly. The top ten holders combined hold about 26.2 to 26.27 percent of supply. Holder count runs above 13,900 across pulls (13,833 to 13,946). ## The launch farm Wallet 0x0DABEE4B5983fb4B7d19cAea80eC54E7246Ce52d, the same wallet that launched microduck, is not a dedicated microduck team; it is a mechanized, repeatable production line. Its own transaction history, paged back to its first ever transaction on 2026 08 25T10:16:54Z, shows sixteen to seventeen separate launchAndBuy, launchToken, or launch calls into Pons V2's router contracts, plus a further call into a separate CharityLaunchpad contract, across a roughly five day window. Adjacent approve calls in the same history carry name tags for a run of similarly themed Robinhood Chain tokens the wallet launched: Ansems Dog (2026 08 26T18:03:07Z), Vlad's Dog (2026 08 26T19:06:31Z), robin (2026 08 26T19:11:42Z), Sparky (2026 08 27T07:54:54Z), hood morning (2026 08 27T14:48:00Z), Trenches (2026 08 26T15:03:59Z), deg (2026 08 26T14:55:05Z), Protector Of Ukraine (2026 08 26T13:56:19Z), Pepo (2026 08 26T11:19:07Z), The Real Kid (2026 08 26T11:19:04Z), and visualize (2026 08 26T15:42:59Z), on top of microduck itself. The same wallet repeatedly calls claim or claimToken on a V2FeeEscrow contract (0xd3AFEB2a57f70eF218Aa82451c51B2fb0416Ac9e), harvesting creator trading fees across this run of launches more than a dozen times in the same window. It began exiting its own microduck position almost immediately: 25 minutes after the launch transaction, at 2026 08 27T11:49:12Z, the wallet executed a transfer call moving microduck out, direct on chain evidence of the exit beginning right away rather than an inference from a later zero balance alone. As of the latest pull the wallet holds zero microduck; its current holdings are MRNA, NVDA, KARMA, DJT, and Mau, five different Robinhood Chain tokenized names and no microduck. This wallet's launch, not a team's, is the accurate description of who put microduck on chain: it launched microduck the way it launched sixteen other tokens the same week, harvested fees from it the way it harvested fees from the others, and moved on. This does not, on its own, prove intent to defraud; it is a mechanized, repeatable production pattern, stated as such. ## The two Microducks This is the article's most useful finding for a reader carrying a wallet. A Solana pump.fun contract address, CTuw8xEE15hKi2yB9n8CoLDq8ZhBLVbh8ydcuN11pump, has circulated alongside microduck promotion on Robinhood Chain. It is not a scam address and not empty. It is a real, actively traded, independently launched Solana token, also named "Microduck," symbol "Microduck," with its own site (microduck.club) and its own Telegram (t.me/microduckonsol), running about $37,474 in FDV and market cap and about $139,057 in 24 hour volume at pull time. It launched at 2026 08 27T11:19:02Z, five minutes before the Robinhood Chain token (11:24:24Z), both riding the same Clement Delangue announcement (11:05:16Z) within twenty minutes of each other on two entirely different chains. Two large accounts posted that Solana address in Robinhood Chain context. The last of EricCryptoman's six posts about microduck (see The promotion, below), 2026 08 30T10:42:08Z: "Another day, another solana:CTuw8xEE15hKi2yB9n8CoLDq8ZhBLVbh8ydcuN11pump @MicroDuckNVDA ATH. @RobinhoodCrypto chain is where dreams are made. @vladtenev." That post pastes a Solana address while tagging the Robinhood Chain account @MicroDuckNVDA and praising "Robinhood chain" by name in the same breath. @theunipcs (250,368 followers) posted a similar list of his own FOMO platform trades on 2026 08 30T20:33:02Z that includes the line "solana:CTuw8xEE15hKi2yB9n8CoLDq8ZhBLVbh8ydcuN11pump: +610%" alongside $DELTA and the PONS contract address; that post does not itself attach a microduck label to the line the way EricCryptoman's does, the association comes from context, an earlier post of his that lists $MICRODUCK by cashtag among his FOMO holdings without an address, with the FOMO platform apparently supplying the Microduck label the line above is reacting to. A small account publicly corrected it. @fomo1procent (57 followers), 2026 08 30T20:36:52Z, 1 like, 259 views: "@theunipcs You used this CTuw8xEE15hKi2yB9n8CoLDq8ZhBLVbh8ydcuN11pump for Microduck btw, change the cashtag uni @theunipcs." No reply or correction from either large account was found. The practical consequence for a reader is precise. A reader who copied that address off either post, expecting the Robinhood Chain token this article covers, would have bought the separate Solana token instead, under the same name but on an entirely different chain. Both are real, tradeable tokens: this is not a case of a reader losing money to nothing, but of a reader buying a different, unrelated asset than the one being discussed, under the mistaken belief the two were the same. Neither token is a scam, a rug, or fraudulent. No evidence supports either poster knowingly posting the wrong address to deceive followers; the more supported reading, given theunipcs's post lists the address as one of several trades without an explicit microduck tag and EricCryptoman's post pairs a Solana address with praise for Robinhood chain in the same breath, is confusion between two same named tokens on different chains, launched five minutes apart in the same news cycle, not a proven intentional switch. ## The promotion @EricCryptoman, who discloses a sponsorship with the gambling platform Rainbetcom in his X bio, posted about microduck repeatedly across three days: - 2026 08 28T11:08:09Z, 97 likes: "Rumours that every household will own a microduck." - 2026 08 28T15:09:10Z, 135 likes: "My quants tell me the $NVDA owned robot duck is going to 10 million market cap today and I tend to believe them. @MicroDuckNVDA, 0xd5f1afea47b1a9eab414d2ee740cf1d6d039e725." - 2026 08 28T15:50:54Z, 82 likes: "My MicroDuck is called Clyde." - 2026 08 29T10:52:13Z, 157 likes: "50x and somehow feel we're just getting started. $Microduck @MicroDuckNVDA." - 2026 08 29T15:27:18Z, 39 likes, reply to Ansem: "@blknoiz06 @watchking69 Did you find $microduck yet." - 2026 08 30T10:42:08Z, 135 likes at a later pull: the mismatched address post quoted in full above. No evidence was found that any of these specific posts were themselves a paid placement; the sponsorship disclosure in his bio is a separate, standing relationship with a gambling brand, unrelated to microduck. Underneath EricCryptoman's 2026 08 30T10:42Z post alone, dozens of short, low effort replies followed within the hour: "Pump it" (@Itadoritrades), "LFG 100m soon" (@k99728715), "Send it Hayer" (@tiger58544), "Go hard, Eric!" (@gooniebags), "Higher" (@yaogajria), among many more of the same shape, a reply pile on pattern found under his other posts as well. Skeptical voices sit in the same threads: "Why did you sell it" (@BagLordGogi); "man you're really out here chasing the next nvidia narrative huh" (@MacroBombastic); "the same pump and dump dance again" (@wolfgangg37); "vlad is just feeding the casino now" (@Leon_Defi); "Scanned this at 2m and thought too high. Lesson in there" (@Degenomics2000). EricCryptoman's own activity reads as one trader running several bags at once rather than a dedicated microduck believer. @EinsteinYipie (15 likes, 2026 08 30T06:17:04Z) framed it plainly: "Eric has been cooking like crazy on @fomo these past few days. $microduck, $boner, $Liluni, and $clan are his main bags. Except for $Liluni, they've all had huge pumps." ## The organic signal Genuine, non financial interest in the real robot exists independent of either token's price, and is worth separating from the farmed promotion above rather than folding into it. @knowerofmarkets (35 likes, 2026 08 27T16:26:06Z) wrote: "It's almost friday, and we're live monitoring some great stories this morning: HuggingFace's Microduck robot, Barret Zoph joins Google, Meta and Anthropic's proposed..." Several accounts replied about the robot directly to Hugging Face's own @Thom_Wolf, unconnected to either token's price: @Santi_jpegs (2026 08 30T01:58:25Z), "I need more microduck content"; @Rudigherr (2026 08 29T17:02:14Z), "$microduck." A developer, @rokbenko (2 likes, 2026 08 30T13:53:57Z), wrote: "I open-sourced quackd. You tell the Microduck what you want in plain language, like 'find the ball and kick it', and an LLM (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini or Grok) plans the steps...", genuine builder activity around the robot itself rather than the token. This organic thread was not independently re confirmed in a later verification pass and is carried here on the original research corpus's own sourcing rather than a live re pull. ## The numbers Indexed hourly data for microduck's flagship NVDA quoted pool begins 2026 08 28T00:00:00Z; no earlier candles are indexed despite the 2026 08 27T11:24Z on chain launch, an indexing gap rather than evidence against the earlier time. That first candle opened at $0.00245, near the $0.0025 level microduck is indexed from. The token's all time high in this window printed at $0.0268615892916618, at 2026 08 30T10:00:00Z, implying a fully diluted value near $26.86 million on the fixed billion token supply, the same hour EricCryptoman published his ATH post about the token. Price declined the rest of the day to close at $0.01453 at the most recent complete hourly candle, 2026 08 30T23:00:00Z, down roughly 46 percent from the same day high. No circulating market cap is reported for microduck by either tracker: GeckoTerminal's own token level pull shows market_cap_usd as null, and Blockscout's own record separately shows circulating_market_cap as null, both trackers agreeing there is no reported figure rather than reporting conflicting ones. ## Status As of August 30, 2026, microduck is live and trading, with several open questions. Because the contract is unverified, the tax and owner behavior described above rest on a reverted eth_call rather than a readable source, suggestive rather than conclusive. The identity behind the deployer wallet, beyond its on chain launch pattern, has not been established; it is treated as pseudonymous, with no attempt made to unmask it, per house convention. No exchange listing beyond Robinhood Chain's own DEX pools was found. ## References - Blockscout, microduck address: https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com/api/v2/addresses/0xD5f1afEA47b1A9eab414D2ee740cF1d6d039E725 - Blockscout, microduck token: https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com/api/v2/tokens/0xD5f1afEA47b1A9eab414D2ee740cF1d6d039E725 - Blockscout, microduck counters: https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com/api/v2/tokens/0xD5f1afEA47b1A9eab414D2ee740cF1d6d039E725/counters - Blockscout, microduck holders: https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com/api/v2/tokens/0xD5f1afEA47b1A9eab414D2ee740cF1d6d039E725/holders - Blockscout, launch transaction: https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com/api/v2/transactions/0x3ca5d04dd6d66af6b32e9cfa28d1f2b5a56f969b9260f96014a454ff398ed2f3 - Blockscout, deployer wallet transactions: https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com/api/v2/addresses/0x0DABEE4B5983fb4B7d19cAea80eC54E7246Ce52d/transactions - Blockscout, deployer wallet holdings: https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com/api/v2/addresses/0x0DABEE4B5983fb4B7d19cAea80eC54E7246Ce52d/tokens?type=ERC-20 - Blockscout, V2LaunchLocker holder: https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com/api/v2/addresses/0x267444D099b10fB5Ed7c3Cc7B7c767AdcA574952 - Blockscout, PonsV2LaunchFactory: https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com/api/v2/addresses/0x7ed598bcef8bd9edd8c97a195c6d13f40801ec7e - GeckoTerminal, microduck token: https://api.geckoterminal.com/api/v2/networks/robinhood/tokens/0xD5f1afEA47b1A9eab414D2ee740cF1d6d039E725 - GeckoTerminal, microduck NVDA pool hourly OHLCV: https://api.geckoterminal.com/api/v2/networks/robinhood/pools/0xcde4d35e341901bc0308c2ffc789448ccd0f238a59597fe702e6710484b9c370/ohlcv/hour - DexScreener API, microduck (Robinhood Chain) pairs: https://api.dexscreener.com/latest/dex/tokens/0xD5f1afEA47b1A9eab414D2ee740cF1d6d039E725 - DexScreener API, Microduck (Solana) token: https://api.dexscreener.com/latest/dex/tokens/CTuw8xEE15hKi2yB9n8CoLDq8ZhBLVbh8ydcuN11pump - microduck.net (Robinhood Chain site): https://microduck.net/ - microduck.club (Solana site): https://microduck.club/ - TechCrunch, "Hugging Face is selling a cute $399 open source duck robot, Microduck": https://techcrunch.com/2026/08/27/hugging-face-is-selling-a-cute-399-open-source-duck-robot-microduck/ - Yahoo Tech, Hugging Face launches Microduck coverage: https://tech.yahoo.com/ai/meta-ai/articles/hugging-face-launches-microduck-399-171113553.html - MarkTechPost, Pollen Robotics and Hugging Face Microduck coverage: https://www.marktechpost.com/2026/08/28/pollen-robotics-hugging-face-microduck-399-open-source-rl-biped-robot/ - fxtwitter, @MicroDuckNVDA profile: https://api.fxtwitter.com/MicroDuckNVDA - fxtwitter, @EricCryptoman profile: https://api.fxtwitter.com/EricCryptoman - fxtwitter, @theunipcs profile: https://api.fxtwitter.com/theunipcs - X post by @fomo1procent: https://x.com/fomo1procent/status/2094162460827906534 - OpenClaw research corpus, posts by @knowerofmarkets, @Santi_jpegs, @Rudigherr, @rokbenko, and @EinsteinYipie about the real Microduck robot and microduck's promotion (exact status URLs not retrieved in the source research)
