Marcell is a Solana memecoin trader and community figure who ranked twelfth on the kolscan leaderboard in January 2026.

Not to be confused with Marcello_695, the artist behind the Pistacio character and coin, an unrelated person despite the similar handle; see that article for the confirmed differences between the two accounts.

Marcell, posting on X as @MarcellxMarcell, is a pseudonymous cryptocurrency trader active in the trenches on Solana. A prolific poster with more than 13,000 posts on the account, he blends trade documentation with community rallying, and community fan tokens bearing his name have circulated on Solana DEXes. With roughly 145,500 followers as of August 2026, the account has grown out of the mid tier and into the six figure influencer class.

Trading career

The local kolscan dataset from January 2026 listed Marcell at rank 12 on the kolscan leaderboard with a profit of about 51.50 SOL for the tracked period, adjacent to Latuche and inside the top fifteen of tracked wallets in that window. The August 2026 exchange chain pivot

By August 2026 Marcell had become one of the loudest Solana native voices trading and promoting the meme waves on the exchange backed chains, calling $BASECAT, then around a 9 million dollar market cap, and Cash Cat ($CASHCAT), then around 85 million, "The 2 freest trades in the market today" and framing the moment as "@coinbase & @RobinhoodApp going toe to toe on sending tiny memes to 100s of millions." He ran pfp change campaigns ("still haven't changed your pfp for base season?!") and raid calls for BASECAT, and courted the institutions directly in character: "hello @cobie @baseapp" and ".@cobie reminds me of my father," both aimed at Cobie, landed among his top posts in a single day, and when Coinbase floated a live trading competition between old and new traders, Marcell was in the replies immediately.

The community rallying texture behind the trading persona runs on a shitpost lane of daily "gmgmmgmgmgm" posts and one liners like "who the fuck is nick fuentes bro."
