KET is a cat themed meme coin on the Solana blockchain launched through pump.fun in July 2026. The name is the internet misspelling of "cat," and the token's entire registered description is the slogan "don't be a pussy," which doubles as the community's rallying cry.

Origin

KET launched during the July 2026 animal meta, when the trenches rotated back into cats and dogs after months of platform and personality coins. The project runs as a community takeover, branding itself "KET CTO" across its site ketcto.com and its TikTok and Instagram presence, with the X account @ket_on_solana as the hub. The mascot is a cartoon cat, and the marketing consists mostly of the slogan applied to every chart drawdown: holders who sell are failing the coin's one instruction.

Market history

The token graduated pump.fun in the first week of July 2026 and climbed through the month. Per CoinGecko it hit an all time high price of about 0.0187 dollars on July 25, 2026, an implied market capitalization of about 19 million dollars on its billion token supply. The run drew centralized attention quickly: the exchange KCEX listed KET spot trading with zero fees on July 22, 2026, and CoinGecko records additional pairs on LBank and MEXC alongside PumpSwap and Meteora. The chart then retraced with the wider meta, and as of mid August 2026 KET trades at a market capitalization of about 4.3 million dollars per CoinGecko, with daily volume still above a million dollars.

Ketflix and the AI video series

Despite the "no lore, no roadmap" branding, KET's actual output is a running series of AI generated videos featuring Solana's biggest names, including Toly, Ansem, Mert, JTX and others. A May 27, 2026 video drew replies tagging @toly, @mert, @drews888, @solana, @perps, @PhoenixTrade and @HyperliquidX directly, with reactions including "Holy ketoly," "absolute cinema!" and "Man you're fcking talented." Holders also referenced a recurring interview format, asking "Wen @vibhu on Dr Ket sessions? Gonna need it" on July 24, 2026. By July 2026 KET launched "Ketflix," a dedicated site collecting every KET video in one place, and a secondhand account of a SolanaFloor interview claimed Jito's cofounder named KET as his "current pitch," crediting how good the videos had gotten; this is reported as an unverified, secondhand claim, not a direct quote from Jito's cofounder. As of July 2026 KET's market capitalization stood at about 12 million dollars with roughly 4,240 holders.

Community story

KET's community positions the coin as the "no excuses" cat of the cycle: no lore, no roadmap, one slogan.
