Ansem.io is a Solana token launch and curation platform opened on August 17, 2026 by the trader and influencer [[Ansem]], built around his community coin [[The Black Bull]] (ticker ANSEM). The site carries the tagline "Every launch, on the record" and describes itself as a place to launch a coin on pump.fun with an airdrop to $ANSEM holders recorded on a public ledger, alongside live charts and verified burns for every launch. The Defiant reported that the site's docs call the product "the launchpad of the $ANSEM community." Announcing it, Ansem wrote that "crypto doesn't need another vanilla token launchpad," per The Defiant, and pitched launching teams on access to more than 145,000 $ANSEM holders as marketers. ## Mechanics Ansem.io is not a standalone launchpad in the technical sense: every coin created through it is a [[pump.fun]] token, launched via dedicated wallets funded for community airdrops and gas, per Bankless. The Defiant reported that every coin created on the site "reserves at least 3% of its supply for $ANSEM holders, bought at the launch price in the same transaction that creates the coin." Teams can pay a one time fee to unlock an enhanced token page with a banner, story, roadmap and updates, and can burn $ANSEM for status badges: 25,000 ANSEM (about 7,600 dollars at the time) for Gold and 100,000 ANSEM (about 30,300 dollars) for Diamond, the latter including a review of the project by Ansem's team ahead of launch. ## z500 The site's leaderboard, z500, ranks participating projects by the size of their $ANSEM burns and the market capitalization of the tokens they airdrop to holders, per Bankless. Top ranked projects receive promotion through Ansem's channels. Bittime described the model as "a marketing and selection layer" rather than a traditional launchpad, offering an alternative to discovery driven purely by trends, volume or paid promotion. ## Launch and reception By 5:19 pm ET on launch day the site reported 19 coins launched, roughly 211,500 dollars airdropped to 26,700 wallets, 929,647 $ANSEM burned and 103.02 million dollars traded, per The Defiant, with $ANSEM trading around 0.303 dollars. Bankless framed the platform as Ansem's answer to pump.fun's curation problem and as a reversal of typical KOL marketing in [[the trenches]], with projects delivering value to an influencer's holders instead of influencers dumping paid allocations. Coverage also cautioned that the airdrops do not guarantee profit for holders. On the evening of August 18, 2026, one day after launch, Ansem posted that he had "officially acquired the @ansem handle," asking followers to follow the account that matches the token's ticker. ## References - https://ansem.io/ - https://x.com/blknoiz06/status/2089896788404633633 - https://thedefiant.io/news/tokens/ansem-z500-index-teams-airdrop-supply-ansem-holders - https://www.bankless.com/read/news/ansem-debuts-launchpad-and-the-z500-onchain-index - https://www.bittime.com/en/blog/ansem-luncurkan-ansemio
